To register as a temporary patient:
You can register as a temporary patient if you are only in the area temporarily.
If registered as a temporary patient under a “short stay” you will be active on our system for 15 days.
If registered as a temporary patient under a “long stay” you will remain active on our system for 12 weeks and this will not remove you from your current GP practice.
You will need to complete the GMS3 form
Please send the completed forms either via email to [email protected] post them to us or drop them into the surgery.
It is highly recommended, where possible to get care from your own practice, most practices are able to send prescriptions electronically to pharmacies and provide telephone consultations. However, there may be some circumstances where you do need to register as a temporary patient to see a GP in the area.
