Our medical software supplier, EMIS, provide a secure, internet access point, called EMIS ACCESS, for our patients to book appointments or order repeat prescriptions directly with our surgery.

To use this service, you must first Register for EMIS ACCESS.

Come to the surgery, and ask the receptionist to register you. (You will need some form of Photo ID, e.g. Passport, Drivers Licence, National ID or Employee ID.) Once you have your EMIS ACCESS registration details, you will need to activate your account HERE.

Once registered you will then be able to book an appointment with a doctor, view appointments you have already made, and cancel them if necessary. You will also be able to order repeat medication listed on your medical record.

These appointments are NOT for medicals, cervical smears, baby checks or any procedures requiring an extended appointment. We do not yet have nurse appointments online. If you are in doubt about using this service please telephone the surgery.

We reserve the right to deny access to the online appointment system to any patient who abuses the service. Please book one session per person ONLY.

We take the security of our patients’ information very seriously. We ensure that the information you provide when using the internet appointment booking facility is protected. All communications with the emisaccess website are encrypted, using 128 bit SSL. Only you can see the personal information you enter. To ensure security its is advisable to use Internet Explorer 5 or above.
